The most recent surveys have revealed that there is a significant increase in the amount of sand required to replenish the northernmost Strathmere beaches. This has resulted in an expected later start in sand pumping operations within Sea Isle City. Based on the latest information received by the City, and reviewed with Army Corps, NJDEP, and Great Lakes representatives, the following is the anticipated schedule of activities in Sea Isle City:

Pump sand onto north-end beaches (between 1st and 30th Street) in the July/August timeframe.

Pump sand onto north-central beaches (between 30th and 52nd Street) in the August/September timeframe.

Pump sand onto south-central beaches (between 52nd and 69th Street) in the September/October timeframe.

Pump sand onto south-end beaches (between 69th Street and southern terminus beyond 93rd Street) in the September/October timeframe.
